In 2023, Mississippi SBDC @ JSU hired Alice Doss to serve as Business Counselor. Prior to coming to work with Mississippi SBDC, Doss served as the Supervisory Business Development Specialist for 8(a) Business Development at the Mississippi District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration in Jackson, MS. Doss has over 45 years of service with the federal government.

BUSINESS RESOURCE CONFERENCE
IN THE DELTA
Mississippi SBDC hosted a Business Resource Conference in the Delta on April 14th. Topics included SBA lending programs, financial literacy, business resource partners, and local lenders.
Regions Foundation also presented a check to further their commitment to support Delta entrepreneurship.
